It is the only European regional airline that has won the ERA (European Regional Airline Association) Airline of the Year award eight times - six in the Gold category and two in the Bronze category - the last one in October 2019. Also It has been awarded the "Golden Palm for Sustained Excellence", a distinction in perpetuity granted by the same association for maintaining high standards of quality in its operation. Air Nostrum was the first airline in Europe to obtain this recognition.
